Shri Dinesh Khara is the Managing Director of Global Banking & Subsidiaries wing of State Bank of India. He holds a Board level position in the Bank supervising the businesses of SBI’s five Associates Banks and nine subsidiaries. The five Associate Banks are independent Board run Banks which together add up to 1/4 th the size of the Group. The nine subsidiaries are engaged in diverse financial activities such as Asset Management, Life Insurance,General Insurance, Custodial Services, Primary Dealership, Investment Banking, Broking,Credit Cards, Pension Funds and Factoring services.

Shri Dinesh Khara, 55 did his Masters in Business Administration from FMS New Delhi and is a post-graduate in Commerce. He is also a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB). Shri Dinesh Khara joined SBI as Probationary Officer in 1984 and has over 32 years of experience in all facets of Commercial banking such as Retail Credit, SME/Corporate Credit, deposit mobilization, international banking operations, branch management, etc.

Prior to being appointed as Managing Director of State Bank of India, Shri Dinesh Khara was the MD&CEO of SBI Funds Management Pvt. Limited (SBIMF). Under his leadership the Company leaped one position up and became the 5 th largest Mutual Fund in India with total AUM of about Rs. 1,30,000 crore by improving its market share to 8.8% from 7%. As Chief General Manager - Bhopal Circle, State Bank of India, he was responsible for managing around 1400 branches and handling deposits and advances portfolio of approx. Rs 1.51 lac crores. During his tenure the Bank increased market share in its area of operation and also improved profitability of key businesses by formulating and implementing strategies for effective delivery of products and services with a clear focus on maximizing profits. Smt. Bharati Rao was Advisor, State Bank of India. Earlier, she was Dy. Managing Director and Corporate Development Officer, State Bank of India with an additional charge as Dy. Managing Director and Group Executive (Associates & Subsidiaries). With a Master’s degree in Economics, Smt. Rao has been the quintessential banker since August 1972. Her 35 years in the Bank have seen a range of assignments both in India and abroad in areas like Commercial Banking, Project Finance, and International Banking. She has had stints as Manager- Business Development, Singapore, Deputy General Manager- Overseas Branch, Bangalore, General Manager- Project Finance SBU, Mumbai, Chief General Manager- International Banking Group, Foreign Offices, Mumbai, Dy. Managing Director & Group Executive (International Banking), Corporate Centre, Mumbai and Dy. Managing Director & Chief Credit Officer, Corporate Centre, Mumbai.

Shri. M N Aravind Kumar is presently the Managing Director and CEO of SBI Global Factors Limited. He is on deputation from the State Bank of India where he is a General Manager. Shri. M N Aravind Kumar is a Post Graduate with Honours in English from BITS, Pilani, Bachelor of Law from Osmania University and a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers. Shri. M N Aravind Kumar joined the Bank in 1985 as Probationary Officer and has been responsible for Branch Operations, MSME and Corporate Banking. He was Executive Vice President (Credit, Syndications and Investments) and Head HR at State Bank of India, Singapore from Sept 2010 to Sept 2014. Before his deputation to SBI Global Factors Limited, he was Circle Credit Officer at State Bank of India, Local Head Office, Thiruvananthapuram.

Shri Narayanan Raja joined State Bank of India as Probationary Officer in September, 1974 and rose to the position of Deputy Managing Director of the Bank. He superannuated from the services of State Bank of India in December, 2010.

A professional and committed Banker with rich and diverse experience of 36 years, he had held critical positions and portfolios spanning HR, Retail Banking, Marketing & Cross-Selling, Treasury, SME, Shipping Finance, Industrial Finance, Credit Appraisal, overseas assignment etc. This holistic experience has facilitated him with comprehensive and strategic understanding of Financial Services Sector at macro and micro levels as also HRM, Organizational Development and Change Management.

After having served State Bank of India for over 36 years, he was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Banking Codes and Standards Board of India (BCSBI) a body set up by the Reserve Bank of India for developing Codes and Standards for banks to follow, while dealing with their customers so as to ensure that customers are treated fairly, ethically and reasonably by banks without any discrimination.

Nitesh Ranjan is General Manager at Union Bank of India, heading Treasury & Business Strategy. He has an accomplished career of 17+ years across government sector and banking, having served in important roles such as Chief Economist, Chief Investor Relations Officer, Head of Balance-sheet Management Group, and as Regional Head of bank’s operations across Union Territory of Chandigarh, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.

He is director on board of Fixed Income, Money Market and Derivatives Association of India (FIMMDA) and SBI Global Factors Ltd. He is also a member of Local Forex Committee of India (LFXC). He was earlier associated with CII as working group member of its National Committee on Banking (2016-17), RBI’s committee on review of priority sector norms (2012), and Economics Affairs & Policy Committee of Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry (2011). He has also published an occasional paper with grant assistance from NABARD on ‘role of commodity futures on price stabilization’ (2005).

Shri Vinay Hedaoo is presently Chief General Manager, Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI). He is Nominee Director of SIDBI. His educational qualification include Bachelor’s degree in Textile Technology, Post Graduate Diploma in Textile Engineering and also a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Banking. He is having over 28 years of Banking experience.

Shri V K Gupta joined SBI as Probationary officer in 1972 and retired as Dy. Managing Director in 2007. During his distinguished career spanning 35 years, he handled various assignments in the areas of Domestic, International and Investment Banking as also in Treasury Operations; notable being Dy. Managing Director & Chief Credit Officer of the Bank, Managing Director & CEO, SBI DFHI as well as SBI Factors, Chief General Manager[Mid-Corporate Group] and Regional Head, SBI Capital Markets Ltd, New Delhi. Amongst his overseas assignments were President & CEO,SBI(California) and Los Angeles Agency as also Chief Credit Officer, Bank Of Bhutan, Phuntsholing. Shri Gupta is a post-graduate in English Literature- Gold Medalist and First Class First- and was teaching in Delhi University before joining State Bank Of India.



Shri. Ramesh Kshirsagar, Nominee Director, Bank of Maharashtra of the Company Resigned from the Board consequent upon his Voluntary Retirement from the Bank of Maharashtra with effect from close of business hours on July 31, 2019

Shri. B.K. Vatsaraj, Independent Director of the Company Resigned from the Board consequent upon his completion of his term as Independent Director with effect from close of business hours on February 15, 2019

Shri B. Sriram, Nominee Director of State Bank of India as well as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company Resigned from the Board consequent upon his voluntary retirement from the services of State Bank of India with effect from the close of business hours of June 29, 2018 (i.e. w.e.f. June 30, 2018)
